Rec when you list Douglas with Kudma and Craze i cannot disagree the latter are way better technical netminders.I dont know what Douglas has with certain teams but he seems to inspire them with his play, he did it to a degree with Swindon last year and has with other teams in the past.He can also be terrible but so can any netminder.Stone is a fantastic addition for them on defence and i cant wait to see the Estonian fwd play, i think they will be a stronger team this year.

For me divided into 3 groups, but always possible for a team to jump a group.
1-3 Jets Flames Phoenix
4-7 Bison Lightning Phantoms Wildcats
8-10 Bees Tigers Steeldogs

team to watch this year is Slough. They do look stronger than last year and were impressive then. They just didn't have enough to catch MK in the league but showed their class in the playoffs.

i can see it being a 3 way battle for the top between the jets, flames (if they can gel and play as a team) and phoneix.
i can then see the bison, lightning and bees battling it out for the next 3 positions with sheffield, telford and swindon battling it out down the bottom of the league.

the season has yet to start so we could be saying something different come christmas but should be an enjoyable year of hockey.

I really don't get the obsession people have with Chris Douglas.  At EPL level he is a medicore netminder at best.  Playing well at the end of one season and beating MK over 2 games doesn't make a competant EPL starter.  The entire Swindon netminding and blueline corps looks weak to me.  When you look at some of the goalies they've had the last few years; Kudrna, Craze, Woolhouse, Douglas not as good as any of them.

As for who will do what etc and the look of the teams
Bracknell look stronger this season in both defence and forwards which should mean an easier season for the netminders.
Guildford look to have a good netminder and will be strong again
Manchester look stronger on D which should help there netminders,if Huppe shines watch out,Walker is a massive loss though.
MK should score more goals this year but will Clarke's work rate let them down
Peterbourgh look stronger for scoring goals,defending and were always going to have a good netminder,bit worried about there depth though.
Slough look stronger across the board and may have juniors to call up.
Sheffield way weaker hope they dont get thrashed every week
Swindon way stronger with Douglas returning and what should be quality players at both ends of the ice
Telford look strong with class acts fwd and D, Netminding ?
